Psalm 34 was written by David after he had nearly been killed by a pagan king and perhaps soon after he was completely alone in the cave of Adullam. This is an appropriate Psalm to meditate on in the midst of our time of social distancing! David either was (or had recently been) completely alone, afraid, and in danger; yet the Lord delivered him! What would David say to us in our time of semi-quarantine?
