Paul warns the Colossians not to become bored with Jesus or to try to add anything to Jesus in order to find spiritual "fullness" or completion. In Jesus the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily. We have been filled in Him. We need nothing else for our spiritual well-being other than Jesus.

How Should We Interpret Revelation?

The first big interpretative question is this: Should Revelation be interpreted primarily literally with some symbolism, or primarily symbolically with some things that are literal? Should Revelation be seen as describing mostly past, present, or future events? Or is it some combination of the three?
