The Abrahamic Covenant: Part 2 | Genesis 17-23
Monday Nov 13, 2023
Monday Nov 13, 2023
This week Mark and Greg argue that God makes only one covenant with Abraham not two. In other words, Genesis 15 and 17 describe one overall covenant about land and offspring. They also argue that the covenant with Abraham is both unconditional and conditional, and it is not until the New Testament that this tension is finally and clearly resolved.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit | A Critique of ’Second Blessing’ Theology
Friday Oct 27, 2023
Friday Oct 27, 2023
In Pentecostal theology it is not uncommon to hear that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available after conversion as a "second blessing" in the Christian life. The implication is that the baptism of the Spirit is separated by time from conversion and that not all Christians today experience it. Is this what Scripture teaches? What do we do with Acts 8?
