John the Baptist, Abortion, and the Gospel | Luke 1-2; Matthew 3:1-6

The mere possibility in the news of Roe v Wade being overturned this summer is astonishing (see from our church here and from Al Mohler here). So on this Mother's Day we discussed the issue of motherhood, abortion, childrearing, and adoption.

1. John was Spirit-filled from his mother's womb (Luke 1:15, 41, 44; 2:12, 16)
2. John was the Elijah-like voice crying in the wilderness (Matt 6:1-6)
